Coastguard helicopter and RNLI launch search after kitesurfer reported in trouble
Oh dear, a bit of drama off our Southbourne beach yesterday as a kitesurfer got into trouble! Thankfully, our brilliant Coastguard helicopter and the brave RNLI crew were on the scene quickly to launch a search. We're always so relieved when everyone is safe after incidents like these on our beautiful coastline.
A search operation involving a Coastguard helicopter, rescue teams and an RNLI lifeboat was launched after a kitesurfer was reported in difficulty off Southbourne beach.
